Seamless 360° Helical Printing
Unlike systems that print cylindrical objects in multiple passes, the RC-300 rotates the object while printing in a continuous spiral motion. This helical printing process creates smooth, seamless 360° graphics while supporting faster production and consistent image quality.
The RC-300 can decorate parallel cylinders as well as tapered, convex and concave profiles. Roland Smart Jet Control uses a built-in laser sensor to measure the distance between the printhead and the object, supporting accurate ink placement on surfaces with height variations of up to 7 mm, excluding the standard head gap.
High-Quality, Durable UV Output
Two industrial-grade GEN6 printheads deliver vivid color, fine details and output at resolutions up to 1,200 dpi. The RC-300 uses seven-color EUV-H ink—Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, White, Gloss and Primer—with two channels dedicated to high-opacity white.
White ink helps produce bright graphics on transparent or colored objects, while gloss ink can create distinctive decorative finishes and premium effects. The integrated jettable primer can improve adhesion on challenging materials such as glass, metal and plastic without requiring a separate manual primer application.
EUV-H ink is formulated for demanding direct-to-object applications, offering strong resistance to friction and solvents. Depending on the material and printing conditions, printed drinkware has demonstrated durability through as many as 125 wash cycles.
Built for Cylindrical Product Production
The RC-300 supports objects measuring approximately 1.78 to 5 inches in diameter and 1.19 to 13.9 inches in length, with a maximum printable length of approximately 11.8 inches. It can accommodate objects weighing up to 6.6 pounds and tapered profiles with angles up to 10 degrees.

A full-color 7-inch touchscreen provides straightforward access to printer controls and repeat-job functions. Operators can enter an object’s dimensions directly and save as many as 50 object presets, helping accelerate changeovers and reduce the need for repeated alignment.
The RC-300 also includes 10 fixtures sized for commonly used open-top cylindrical products. These included tools help businesses begin producing a wider range of drinkware and container applications without immediately investing in custom fixtures.
Streamlined Roland DG Workflow
Included VersaWorks 7 RIP software simplifies cylindrical artwork preparation and production. Designs can be created on a standard rectangular artboard, while VersaWorks adjusts the graphics for seamless printing around the object. For tapered products, the software calculates the required artwork compensation automatically.
Roland DG Connect and Roland DG Connect Designer further support production monitoring, workflow management and design preparation. Built-in ink-cost calculation and job-estimation tools help operators understand production expenses and quote work more confidently.
